Located in the heart of Shelburne Village, Talbott Berman, PLC is proud to serve the needs of injured workers throughout the State of Vermont. We direct our focus towards the needs of injured workers and providing representation in workers compensation cases. Our experience, knowledge and connections to the community, and focus on services, needs and strategy in a worker’s compensation claim, sets us apart from other general practice law firms or firms that handle only a few workers’ compensation cases.

We have a spacious, new office designed for handicap accessibility and with the needs of professional mediation in mind. Although located in the small town of Shelburne, VT, we are serious about protecting the interests of clients all over Vermont, largely from towns like St. Albans, Milton, Burlington, Shelburne, and other towns in Franklin, Chittenden, Montpelier and Addison Counties.

Meet The Attorney

Frank Talbott, Esq. has over 30 years of experience representing injured individuals in workers compensation matters. He has represented not only injured individuals and employees, but also employers and insurance companies in hundreds of cases. Previously, he served as an acting contract hearing officer (administrative law judge) for the Department of Labor in workers’ compensation matters for six years.

Mr. Talbott is proud to represent injured employees in workers’ compensation cases at all levels before the Vermont Department of Labor, the Vermont Superior Courts and the Vermont Supreme Court. He is also qualified to act as a mediator in disputed workers’ compensation claims and is on the approved Mediator’s List of the Vermont Department of Labor.

Mr. Talbott received specific training in the science and art of mediation through Pepperdine University. Furthermore, he regularly associates with other personal injury and workers compensation firms in handling cases, so as to broaden the expertise and maximize representation for his clients. Mr. Talbott works on a contingent fee basis, so no attorney’s fees are paid until we obtain a recovery for you.
